Guided By Voices
Guided By Voices (hereafter referred to as GBV) are a band fronted by Robert Pollard. He recorded the bulk of their extensive (read: unreal prolificity) catalog on his four track in his garage in Dayton, OH. The war in the Balkans had its peace accord signed in Dayton. I hope all the dignitaries visited Sonic for the new shake. Nice treaty fags.
Anyhoo, Pollard has never been able to keep the same lineup in the band. He's also a legendary alcoholic. Legendary. That probably has something to do with his lack of long term band mates. If you're interested download some cuts like "As We Go Up We Go Down", "The Best of Jill Hives", "Glad Girls", "Things I Will Keep", "Useless Inventions". There's literally hundreds and hundreds of songs so good luck getting a handle on the catalog. Shout out to Alan for being the first to post a comment on the blog. Makaela doesn't count in that regard.
The Sonics beat the Pace Show today. I love Reggie, but the Supes needed the win. Atta kids. I bought some whiskey today. I love whiskey. Down into my belly. I'm going to watch the Amazing Race on CBS today because the Vietnamese immigrant and stinky Christian that I work with both love the show. We have little else to talk about. Except sports sometimes, but dude's favorite player is John Stockton. John Stockton is dirty and Karl Malone painted those shorts on him. Gross.

Note: The Dayton Accord was actually signed in Paris, but it was brokered in Dayton OH.

Note: the Dayton Accords were actually brokered by your mom.
